CMS Stars (Medicare’s Five-Star Quality Rating System) is a rating system used by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to evaluate and compare the quality of healthcare services provided by Medicare- and Medicaid-participating facilities such as nursing homes, dialysis centers, home health agencies, and hospitals.
The ratings are based on various quality measures, such as patient satisfaction surveys, health outcomes, and staffing levels. The ratings range from one to five stars, with five stars indicating the highest level of quality.
The CMS Stars system is intended to help consumers make informed decisions about the quality of care they receive and to encourage providers to continuously improve the quality of their services.
Vim’s Quality Gaps solution helps improve quality score performance. With Vim Quality Gaps, payer quality gap data is easily and seamlessly connected to provider EHRs for improved gap closure performance at the point of care.
