Our Story

2015

Vim was founded to reduce the cost of care in the U.S.

Seed funding led by Sequoia Capital

2016

Vim launched with employers, building a digital marketplace between patients and providers

Series A funding led by GreatPoint Ventures

2017

Vim expanded to include payers as a bridge to providers through digital interfaces

2018

Vim signed its first payer, Premera Blue Cross

Vim introduced online scheduling to book directly through payer channels

2019

Vim shifted focus to primary care and payer–provider collaboration and expanded payer partnerships

Series B funding led by Optum Ventures and Premera Blue Cross

2020

Vim advanced point-of-care integration for referral steerage and online scheduling

2021

Vim Introduced Vim Connect, the company’s flagship product, achieving 100 integrations

Series C funding from Anthem Venture Partners, Elevance Health, Optum Ventures, and Walgreens Boots Alliance

2022

Vim partnered with our first set of national value-based care enablement companies

2023

Vim launched Rx Assist and Clinical Data Exchange (CDE)

2024

First third-party AI scribe built on the Vim platform

Vim signed the first EHR partnership with Office Ally

2025

Vim launched Care Insights, Vim Connect Developer Platform, and provider-facing marketplace
